Go Japanese. Not German. Samurais come from Japan not Germany. Makita and Echo are both Japanese and both very good saws. Though I would bet the longevity of the echo being better than the Makita top handles. The echo I believe is also the smallest and lightest of them all.... 👍

Never mind the samurais and DONT bring the kamikazes into this!I believe the Germans had the panzerfausts and panzers too-but that didnt go very well for either of them did it?Saying that, the Soviets had the T34's and also the Stalin organs but I'm not sure where the Russian chainsaws are at 🤔

I liked the 150, but every one I knew suffered from the switch failing and having to be choked off.

The 2511 outcuts it by a mile with the right bar and chain combo.

(The Stihl one!).

The original carbs were a bit dodgy, long since replaced.

Yeah I'm just joking around really, I don't own a 2511 and my 150s in little danger of wearing out as I basically use battery for anything small.

Cut speed's not everything, flick of the thumb and I'm half way through before I'd have finished pulling the starter cord, also really handy to put down in your lap without burning a hole in your trousers so less swinging it around out of the way.

Anyway, what about a nice T525 ?

A nice pair!?

Suprised to see how heavy the battery saw is when compared like for like tbh-both fully loaded with fluids and scabbards on with 10" bars and picco 1.1 chains.
