I have a 230 which normally sits on the floor by the chipper.

I must admit for a toothpick of a saw it's pretty good but as it owes me absolutely nothing I'm tempted to have a go at it

I'll start with go F UK yourself and see how it behaves 😂. It's been a good saw and handy to leave with the chipper.

Sorry , were you telling me to " go fcuk " myself ?

They may even last longer as they run more efficiently , cleaner , faster burning etc . I always was of the mindset to use the smallest , lightest saw I could get away with . I do though have 50,60 70 ,90 ,95 cc saws and they are all ported .

Bloody hell Stubby you do not have an 80cc saw, what happened there, a nice 480, or 281 or even a 585, I am sure your other half can clamber over one more saw to get into the shed, I shouldn’t really comment as I have a 346, two 357s, a 254fg, a L65, a F70, a ms90 and I don’t even cut wood anymore.

I’ve got a brand new never used Dolmar (Makita) PS 420, supplied to me by Shavey of this parrish a few years back. Never even had fuel in it.
Still in the box red plastic tough carry case with two new Dolmar bars and two new chains. Got is as a replacement saw for an old knackered husky but then chained jobs.
Can be had for very reasonable money.

Should have said, it’s the SC version and has unused 15” and 18” bars.
