Really-there is,I kid thee not.Ive bought a couple of the budget stihls, and some are were effing shitty. But I just flogged a year 2003 180 which has done stupid work, and in some ways,in spite of getting most of my money back-I felt a tad wistful.😳

I'm a Husqvarna man to be honest . Pretty much always used them .  The old 242 and 254 were my earliest I think . Down to 6 saws now , all ported .

I'm the other way-all stihls/a couple of small makitas for top-handled work.I had 8,but I'm quite proud of myself now having sold 2 (grudginly),but still fancying a ms 241.It never ends!Worse still,I also have mowers/blowers/hedgetrimmers rtc, etc. So the lust fest never ends tbh 😳

The only Stihl I would be interested in now ( if I still worked in the woods ) would be the MS400 . Seems to be well reviewed on here with good power and light weight .

Think id go with/prefer the look of the new 40cc echo but already have a makita ea4300 in 40cc saws  , so don't need another 40cc saw.

Husky need to make a new 40cc one.

The old/new updated italian active  maruyama 60cc saws look interesting too antivibe is low and power to weight good on the mcv6200

Likewise, I've looked at that long and hard, great power to weight ratio, cutting edge mag. Piston tech etc.I stuck my ms441 on ebay for £750 and could have sold it for £700,but the 400 would still have cost me £250 more. And in truth would be about 5 odd cc's less in power, but no doubt, slimmer and lighter.Also-I DO like the v.3 mtronic saws. They work and rev beautifully in my limited experience.

I want another Hedge trimmer, Kombi power unit, and an Auger, I know whereof you speak.

Ooh, that's a mighty close run thing. 441 or 400? Make the choice easier, get a 500. 😂 😂

Lucky you could start your 251, mine always has been a pig, still holding shed concrete down.
