Diesel jump pack

No, it'll work fine of diesels.

 

The jump pack doesn't know what engine it's starting, but diesels need more amperage relative to engine size. (A 2L diesel will need more power to start than a 2L petrol.)

My thoughts also . As long as it exceeds the cranking amperage of the battery then I thought it would be fine . I know diesels usually have higher compression than the equivalent petrol engine ( being compression/ignition engines ) maybe its to do with that ? Anyway seeing as Mark pointed out my school boy error I have ordered Noco Boost XGBX 4250A and with a string of numbers like that it should jump start a space shuttle .  Sooo when my M777 mobile gun gets a flat battery I should be fine 😀
