Wallabies

Anyone live near The Roaches, Staffordshire Moorlands. I’ve been a ride over today to see if I could spot any Wallabies, got speaking to two locals separately, one told me that he believed the winter of 2010 killed the colony off, the other told me that there had been sightings much later, perhaps 2018-2020. I remember seeing then as a kid but that was 40+ years ago, maybe even longer. Anyone local with any more info?

I went down south a couple of months ago and I swear there was a dead kangaroo on the hard shoulder of the M6 a few miles before it joins the M1. 

I've been to Oz many times and do know what they look like.

There was a small colony living in a private woodland near me in Lancashire many years ago, they can certainly move with a lurcher on their arse.

Larch felling up Goyt today so I'll keep my boomarang handy

 

I have faint memories of seeing one as a kid but not see one up that way for ages

It wouldn’t surprise me if van lifers had eaten them all going by the amount of vans parked around there and the Peak District yesterday. Rows of them in some lay-bys, not even trying to hide
