Hi all

Bought a Stihl M5211c  many years ago and specified a chrome blade which for me was a very good choicecutting my home grown trees for firewood . The blade will soon need replacing and I'm finding it impossible to find a replacement chrome chain does anyone know of a supplier. I have standards chains but for me chrome suitswell.

Cheers

Richard

Do you mean a MS211.

Chrome is just a coating and doubtful anyone does that to a chain as you sharpen it making it pointless in the first place.

IE, chrome plate it and as it wears the chrome off and turns into swarf and a whole world of pain.

Or was it the Duro Carbide version ?.

Hi. When ordering the chainsaw I chose the chrome blade and understood that it could not be sharpened.

I can'.t remember any other name or description. It was an expensinsive option that worked for me.

Can I have the price.

Cheers

£20?

Stihl 36120000056 Chainsaw Chain Genuine Stihl Picco Duro 3 (PD3) replacement chain with 3/8"P pitch and 1.3mm gauge...

if your bar is 16".......

Id say better just getting  normal chain though  as easier to sharpen unless you are a fireman?
