I'll chuck a couple of quid in too. We're all only one step away from it. Can somebody on here a bit more tech-savvy than me sort a collection out?

my heart goes out to all friends, family and all that knew scott he,s not much older than me so so young iv'e never experanced kick back aloft and hope this is because a do everything possible to prevent it happening.But it only takes a second of distraction for accidents to take place stay safe guys and girls ever more so with all this terrible weather lately .

the report said the chainsaw kicked back striking him in the neck. It seems that many of the people that have died from kickback in trees have hit themselves in the neck.

 

just off the top of my head - there are protective chainsaw sleaves on the market..why not make ballistic nylon log sleeved tops with neck protectors.

I think it would have more issues with the heat, even today, mid-November, I was down to a t-shirt in the mewp. Surely better training and more care taken with the saws is the key, not more wrapping up in cotton wool?
