Garage lay out ideas

I'm going to be re jigging my garage for my work and a log store also. 
 

I need a bit of advice/inspiration that I can steal ideas from. Be mainly used for saw maintenance and log storage etc. If anyone's keen to show there own set up that'd be grand. 
 

Mines is a 6x3 metre so pretty small. 
 

 

It's a bit of a mess so needing some ideas.

Terrible place to store firewood

 

Needs more shelves, a comfy chair, and an old hi-fi

 

Store oil/fluids outside in a separate shed/box, they just get in the way.

Mainly all dead wood taken off of site so no need for it to dry. 
 

Looking at getting a free 2 seater shortly. Hopefully one local comes up.

Maybe try to aquire a load of free pallets prior to starting the re-jigging work. Good source of free timber for building shelves, log stores/racks/boxes and anything else besides.

Aye that's what my current small log store is made of. 
 

Don't mind making stuff out of live edge n metal brackets for shelves. Quite fancy making it look quite well.

Think about a. Bench on wheels sliding under a fixed bench

I'm in the process of getting my logs out of the garage (I used to dry them outside and move them in late in the year to start another load drying), I'd keep that for a nice dry working area myself and build yourself a log rack (or two?) outside.  Second hand fence posts (saw off rotted bit at the bottom, and pallets are your friend.  All you need is some time and some nails/screws and a small space to put it/them.
