You may well find it doesn't become an issue, but it does progress generally (not sure if always). Mine has taken 20 years to get to a point where it needs doing on the one hand, and the other is only just starting to show. If you want to see a severe example try to catch a glimpse of Bill Nighy's hands. Not sure why he left his untreated.

Almost makes the looming recovery period from having my Dupytren's contracture treated look appealing. Might start a thread on that? Dupytren's is very common in our line of manual work.

Good morning guys, 400 miles driving to jobs the last 2 days, I was a passenger so was pretty enjoyable.  Off to physio at 8am then off up the river Robo flailing a nice grassy flood plain for 3 days.

Bit of an edge to it..Heating came on...stat set at 16 Deg 

Lighting the stove and document day...
