We did buy an expensive pump years ago, but there’s only 2 or 3 cubic metres down there.

It takes a long time to refill, so not worth the effort.

Sold the pump.

Didn’t fancy spending a few days down there digging and having the wife haul up buckets of sloppy mud? You surprise me.

I suspect it does have a bottom but will google what you mean. I’m trying to buy a property with no mains connections so I’ll have to learn about it at some point anyway.

I did similar a few days ago to stop the trolley jack rolling around the load bed. Note the lazy man's tool for pulling it out. Unfortunately I didn't have yew or walnut to make the box with, hence use of plywood offcuts.

Outstanding work fellas. Great carpentry skills on display. You all fell into the wrong vocation.

 

I need to build a pull-out draw for the back of the jeep.
