Morning all,

Mild and dry here, ideal for a bit more walking.

Sorry it's my turn to preach Bob, but it's very fresh for me and was by far the most serious event of my working life.

Not preaching at all Doug. Hope the memory settles down soon for you. We need reminding about the nature of our work, so we don't get complacent.

Beech hedge reduction completed yesterday, took about 7' off it. They were dealing with arisings themselves, I enjoyed their surprise at the magnitude of what they'd taken on. "Didn't realise there'd be so much stuff from just cutting a hedge".

I love it when customers realise how much they have underestimated disposal of arisings.

It was a pretty intense hour and it has affected us, but the business and the team I'm with have been so supportive and professional in the days after which is very positive. Also our protocols and capabilities received complimentary feedback from the medical people that attended, and we've been approached by a chap that formerly worked on casualty evacuation in Afghan who had some very kind words to say, so I'm feeling quite proud of what we achieved.

I've always felt it's helpful to be open and communicative about these things and I'd like to speak more freely about it but it's not appropriate, for now anyway.

Morning all.

Thanks for asking Pete and Stephen, all's ok. He's at home with the family, quite sore and scarred but he's in good spirits and looking forward to christmas. He/we are feeling very lucky.

Windy here today, I'm at my Monday job at the riverside in a bit, maybe clear some willow.

Have a good one folks.

Edit. Just to confirm I don't identify as He/We now.

Pronoun confirmation.
