The Arbalk morning register!

I was thinking about this whilst walking the dog this morning.

That job I just posted, the groundy processed/chipped more than 4 tonnes of branches on his own on Wednesday, yes he had the Avant and yes I did my own lowering but that’s a hell of a thing.

Not one grumble about how we should have had another pair of hands (which we should)

Now, most of the time working with me is relatively easy, if we can get machinery to it, we do.

Early finishes almost guaranteed.

On the odd day, when your backs are against the wall, it’s great when you can grit your collective teeth and get through it.

Too often employees see the early finishes and other perks as the norm, and get the hump if once in a blue moon they have to roll their sleeves up.

Anyway, that’s it.

Morning, rainy start here.  Immaculate conifer hedge to reduce by 4 feet to do, customer has done it himself for over 30 years and it’s perfect, fingers crossed the branches are like bananas in the back and it turns out nice, he’s been warned.

Morning all,

Dry day here. Woodchip delivery, then oil/filter and blade change one of the chippers. Despite bing in cloud and drizzle yesterday it was short sleeves yesterday while ringing up the beech we felled earlier in the week.

Have a good weekend.
