My eldests birthday today, another excuse for a day with the wife's family- 😿

Good Morning Team. Some chores ahead of an afternoon with her parents and sister being here for a late lunch etc. Have to say that we have encountered an excellent pork pie with egg from Morrisons and some great pickles and cheeses!

I did try a 500km cycle ride to get away from them but had to pull out after 200km. All of my family had had colds and it was clear I was coming down with it. At 1am, shivering, in the middle of nowhere I saw a lorry distribution yard, lights were on in the canteen area. I let my self in and sat there for a number of hours shivering before back tracking 10 miles to catch a train. The first two trains cancelled, more shivering ensued. First cycle of many I have done this year that I have had to bail out of.

Morning all,

 

Dry here for the morning, so off to (mechanically) dig out the conifer stump from yesterday. Just got to avoid gas water and electricity, wherever they may lie.
