for the parts i think it would be very complicated as it it would involve new gearbox then makeing a path for the prop to the rear and then installing a rear axle out off something rear wheel drive youd probally want an lsd diff in it aswell

 

and imo the sprinter is nowhere near as good as the vw transporter the vw is much better quality bigger and more comfortable and has the option of 4x4 from new

also i don't think the merc is available as a chassis cab if you want it for arb work

 

finally for anyone whos interested the new AWD transit tipper is available this year

genuine ford not a county conversion
