London Plane, any good for burning?

Peter (above) brought me a 10 tonne load of Plane mid July. By the end of August it was all cut, split & stacked under cover. Come January that was the only wood I had left & I cautiously offered it to customers thinking it wasn't really ready but, everyone loved it & said it burned wonderfully. Now it's all gone & people are asking for more of the same!

There's so much hype about wood and its quallities, i find everything burns if you split it quick and store it, ill sell anything, as long as i tell the client what it is and how wet or dry it might be, they seem happy. :001_smile:

Not had any complaints anyway:blushing:

My only advice stay away from poplar as it's like a sponge, and stays like it for years.:thumbdown:
