You can buy them in the UK but they don't conform to working at height requirements for fall protection. (need to have closure protection - 3 way locking etc)

If your not fussed about that or want to supplement your existing 2 ropes and compliant positioning lanyard with a forth system you can get them at Jones:-

I still use a two way similar to that snap lock but on rope rather that steel core.

The ISC ones are 3 way but very similar configuration and operation to the one in your picture. Honey Bros sell them and they do them on steel. The would be a good bet for you.

Personally I don't like the steel ones but thats just choice. Ive got one thats been used about 3 times and stuffed back in a kit bag forever more. I think thats a 2 way but cant remember for sure.

They last forever especially when being whacked round gnarly trunks repeatedly

Surely that one is compliant? It's a 3 way ISC snap, not one of those old US steel ones.

They don't last forever, and given the right whack will stick open, but that's another story.

Nothing lasts forever in the literal sense but the shorter wire strop  I have has stood many trees worth over the 20 odd years it’s been in service…..so I’d say that’s pretty robust . Neither has it ever stayed open once, unlike most twist gates that have on occasion .
And those lighter 3 way versions on the Stein like you say, are not that robust from my limited experience of them .
