Chainsaw arm protection

There have been threads on here before about them, the French use them a lot, I think @mickdempsey was involved in conversations.

My guess is you will buy some to satisfy your wife that you won't cut your arm off but they will end up at the bottom of a gear bag getting mouldy. Arbortec do some but as previously mentioned the best protection is not sticking a topping in your forearm.

I would suggest to the missus that if she wants to wear the trousers she goes out and uses them and gets paid for it. 🤪

 

On a serious note, they are rubbish.  Pointless IMO as they won’t protect you from cuts at the bottom of the kit bag.

 

Save your money and buy your missus something nice.

 

More importantly, don’t cut near your forearms.
