Haix trekker mountain 2.0 are good for waterproof boots if you keep them waxed with good old dubbin.

same as protector pro class 1 boots. I imagine safer than wellies and a lot more comfortable. Though quite heavy.

I did look at those. Can't see what the difference is between them and the Protector 2s TBH, other than the price. They both appear to have the same spec.

Has anyone tried Haix protector lite pro?

The Haix Protector Lite Pro Chainsaw Boots available at the best price online at ForestAndArb.com.

I like the look of them, though I notice they call them water "resistant" rather than waterproof. Still, Gortex lined, so should be. They look a good compromise for hedge laying work. And a good price.

Will need some new boot soon as well anyone tried Treemme Aquastop Pro looks a good strong boot.

Wear Haix protector pro but its a heavy boot.

I find Haix too wide fitting for me so I had to drop down half a size/one size.
The Treemme Aquastop are an excellent boot for the money, quite narrow fitting, high topped, a great warm Winter boot, and they last.

I have had several different types of Treemme boots, had nothing else over the last 12 years.

The Arbortec Scafell Light have mixed reviews, but I took a punt on a pair I saw on eBay, £130 delivered.

They are on eBay regularly at this price so you could have two pairs for the price of some of the other brands.

I am pretty surprised how well they fit after some of the horror stories I have read, drove in them on day one.
