Working not far from my base at Clitheroe a fortnight since and lad who was climbing for me had an Ms500 and a Husky 550 stolen not 50 yards from where we were working.  Couple of days later another local Arb has his Timberwolf stolen from near Skipton. Then just last Thursday a local builder in my village has his new Ifor 10ft taken...this pic matches the vehicle that took the saws from my job. Police underfunded,  under-resourced and generally unwilling. Keep a close eye on your kit.Screenshot_20221213-160358_Instagram.thumb.jpg.89f82c150e9ac7fc555881aae57e1b8b.jpg

Instead of using 'Arbrisk' insurance, we should crowd fund a remote pig unit and engage in some summary justice.

The meat can then be donated to the travelling community.

Not until the last thief has been caught and the last pig fed we shall have peace of mind.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
