So I am stuck I have to price for 30 6x1 redwood planks at 3mtrs long I have the sawlogs and they are left from another job so all paid for normally I would go how much did butt cost to get to my yard and then add something for my time sawmill and how unusual it is ,so yeah stuck

If it is any help I would charge them at £10 each roughly.  Assuming I had 3m logs of course.  If you have longer logs I would charge for the length the logs are.

 

If you are just trying to cover your time however you might want to price them differently.

Thanks thats a big help I need to be pricing similar to everyone else just coz the logs are from another job thats some  of my profit and I can only get 3mtrs through the mill at the mo need an extention but £500 kinda put me off buying one from Woodland Mills but got to do something .

Im charging £30 a cubic foot for Larch and £15 a cube for other Softwood. That comes out at £6 a length for Redwood. Id simply not bother my arse for that so Id also want £10 each to make it worth my time. 

 

It really depends on how desperate you are for the sale. Not that fussed then a tenner each. Want the sale more than the customer does? £5-6 each.
