i now know why you got a lovely cuppa and cakes in yorkshire, coz the woman was scottish, i can tell by the tartan mug, its from the clam Mcstovy, they derive from the western isles, if her name was Mary then say hi from me deano:thumbup1:

the very one grunty, she is infamous for making her own cake with the haggis droppings and straining her own brand of tea through her old knickers, proper jon deano, you will have hairs on yir cheest in the mornin:laugh1:

On the subject of tea; correct me if I'm wrong - the further north you go the less tea and more watery it is? Down ere it's made bloody strong with atleast 5 bags to the pot or two bags to the cup, left in. ???

yeah, all the tea spoons in yorkshire are all galvanised to prevent corrosion from the tannic acid:biggrin:
