I don’t see you trying to make it on YouTube ??

How could you possibly know whether or not i am 'making it on YouTube'? Actually, I'm not, but I do advise clients how best to use the platform to make money.

Maybe as a money earner, it'll be sponsored tattoos on all his shirtless videos.

Maybe other local tree guys can pay for it ?.

Thank you for the positive post 👌

Come on now fella, it’s a joke show. If you ever make any money out of it I’d be more than surprised. Prove me wrong and I’ll take it back in spades.

I'm not sure if he doesn't see the sarcasm or delusional taking it as a compliment.

Either way we can safely say people here aren't really your demographic.

Here's sticking around here as most other forum admins would have deleted his posts before we even saw them. As I said, he seems like a nice enough lad, he's just doing (literally) everything wrong if he wants to make money on YouTube. Spamming and link dropping crap content is not the way to go about it.

I wasn't wanting to be cruel or dismissive as yeah, he seems nice enough but YouTube is a cruel mistress.

It should never been seen as a cash cow, more of a side hustle. Social media and all the tick tock guff is for those that don't really work for a living and have time to setup and do it.

The days of ad revenue from YouTube are ancient history... If you're not using sone kind of AdBlock app you're a mug anyway.

The big name arb-tubers (Billy Ray, August Huneke, maybe a few others I forget) are selling merch. That's where the money is, always was. Kiss made ten times on T-shirts and lunchboxes then what they ever earned from record sales and touring.
