OK so I've been registered on tipsite for a while now, its been really good and had a few loads of chip and 1 load of wood.  But could use a whole heap more wood and now got loads of room to store.  If this isn't a cheek to ask, would anyone within say 15-20 miles of Chichester, West Sussex have heaps of wood/arbwaste sitting in there yard they'd like removed?

Any size ok, can cut (have relevent tickets CS30/31).  Or maybe even exchange some time on site helping cut up in return for a few trailer loads of wood or something?

Just thought this might be more attractive to a busy company than dropping it off at my tipsite?

Or perhaps I'm best to just phone a few local companies?

Will also speak to some of the local estates to see what chordwood they've got available for sale.

Would consider Arundel/Chichester/Portsmouth/Petersfield/Midhurst etc.

If anyone is interested 07557008097.

Thanks 🙂

has beech cord for sale, maybe some chestnut.

Thanks doobin, I do indeed have a fairly regular supply of beech cord available by the lorry load but it sounds to me like the original poster is after arb waste

Just thinking of your chestnut odds and ends really. It's good burning wood for a log burner.

You should try directly contacting your local companies.  The tip site is aimed at people working outside their local area so you are not likely to get a regular supply.

Rob

Yes I see thanks Rob I'll try that.

Great thanks Steve.  Tip site directory is a great feature btw, the other day i thought i could do with some chip 10mins later someone phoned asking if they could tip😮😆.

No such thing as a free meal they say, but seems a shame when piles of timber are left to rot or large stems chipped then dumped.  Can't expect them to go out their way to help but this helps, if I can make it more attractive or convenient then I might get somewhere.
