It has 2.5kW output, not 3.0 like 550/261.

the declared 3kW is consumption (.5kW is turned into heat and other losses).

However electric motors do behave a bit differently and even lower output leads to better performance compared to the petrol counterparts.

Looks nice,

 

It might be old news but there is a new battery top handle coming out soon based on msa220.

Couple of versions, one with the cockpit display for oil light, battery condition etc.

Be good to see how you find it - yep I find that on battery saws always forgetting to check oil level!

Would be nice with a AC adapter option for  for cutting firewood whan there is mains available.
