Our constituency MP drives across the path to park outside her office in town. No drop curb. Maybe I should grass her up - Boris backing, Brexit supporting, Tory scum.

Update: I had the council's guy came to dig the trial holes £650 each and guess what there were NO tree roots!! Finally I will be allowed to have the drive :) I am just waiting for a official confirmation now. What a results  finally after 13 months!!

Hi Gajendra

 

I’m having the same issue with Sutton council although they’re saying £800 for a test dig?? Did you have to pay £650 x2 as two trees? We just have the one tree and it’s actually between our neighbours and their neighbour! But the RPA falls in front of our house. Trying everything in my power not to pay this money especially when I’m very certain that like in your case there will be no roots there!

Hi, both of these trees were not in-front of our driveway and because we wanted the driveway so we had to pay and it was £650 each.
