Handy little tool. Girl we work with has one used it at chipper to nick branches before putting through chipper. Now she has C. saw ticket so not used it much. 

Have used it up the tree for light pruning.

Chain guard can be a PITA to get tight spaces.

Excellent bit of kit in the right place, but don’t expect wonders a silky can be quicker for some stuff but for the odd bit or lots of cuts in fruit tree pruning it can be a good send. The leg holster thing for it is crap tho don’t waste your money.

im thinking for smaller pruning to save effort with the silky on bigger branches

just looking for any negative comments before i waste my money finding out

Once when you get it out and again at batt change, it’s hardly a big deal. That said the bar and chain would prob last longer if it oiled all the while
