Single cab pickup, notch the chassis rails to drop it as low as possible, or mount behind the rear axle (using airbags to stabilise the weight?) don’t bother with a turn table or similar, just move the spout.
Could even shorten the chassis to bring the trailer closer or shroud with something to stop too much chip blowing about

The prop would be in he way on most 4x4 single cabs to get between the cab and rear axle unfortunately

This was the thing I was looking for! I seem to recall that the owner has been very happy with the set up. if it works well for him, then very best wishes to him!

Your only saying that cos it’s green🤓.
As Mick says you’d have to be Peter Crouch🤔, the hoppers far too high( actually I’ve noticed hoppers are getting higher on chippers these days, if the designers actually used the chipper as its intended they’d go back to the old Timberwolf 150s type🤔) it might be ok for a bit of Laurel like he’s got in the picture, it looks like that could of been it’s maiden voyage because the setup looks rather new😳, if he was feeding complete 4/5 inch stems into it all day he might change his thoughts🤔. A nice looking trailer though with three way tipping( 4 if you want to tip onto the drawbar😳)

You are correct that chippers are getting higher, the legislation changed the other year and all current units have to be above 600mm at the end of the flap. Some are higher for engineering reasons too. I was looking at an older chipper in a mates yard, the chute was about 8 inches off the floor and half as long as today's chutes! I once had a customer who had 4 x QuadChips and a couple 9f blokes always complained that they were too low.....
