Magno-Flow magnets!?!

I was with a client the other day, delivering 3 of our SafeTrac chippers and got introduced to John Brown of Magno-Flow. He was fitting strong magnets to the fuel system of every engine the client had in the yard. These magnets are to change the molecular structure of the fuel (petrol or diesel) which makes it burn quicker and better, improving MPG, power output and reducing emissions and noise levels.

 

I'm always sceptical of stuff like this but, I watched him do a noise measurement before and after and reduced it by 3Db, which is a huge reduction in real terms. Still sceptical,  he fitted the magnets to my Ranger and it has improved the mpg  by about 4mpg per tank and I got the feeling that I didn't have the same degree of throttle to get about.

 

I still am baffled by it and dead sceptical! If it is that good, why isn't it fitted as standard on all ICE?

 

Anyone else tried this kind of thing.

Fitted a magnetic coil around the mains water incoming pipe at home . It supposed to rid the world of all known diseases and pick the winning lotto numbers  . Proof is in the pudding as they say .

Sounds interesting, never heard of it before. Could be a smart thing to fit on my old unmappable hilux.

There are many psuedo-scientific articles circulating on the internet.

Many almost make for convincing reading except non are published by reputable mainstream scientific journals.

Like faith healers whose magic works in gatherings of the openly receptive, such powers evaporate in the hospital.

Likewise the power of magnets to improve fuel efficiency works for the client but seemingly not in the laboratory.

I wore a magnetic bracelet for years, swore it stopped all my aches and pains and encouraged everyone to try one.

Then one day it broke, or to be precise a blob of weld spatter landed on it and melted the plastic that held the magnet in place and it became too uncomfortable to wear. No change whatsoever from not wearing it and still isn't.

 

When I took the bracelet off I hooked it over the top of the shower glass, then  when I moved house years later I was ever so surprised to see it hung over the shower glass in the new place. Missus thought that was where I kept it so brought it and put it in its proper place.

Oh god the magnet bullcrap thing.

One of my mates would go on about it and i would shut him up by saying "so the military, formula one, the aircraft industry and the entire combustion engine industry in the last 100 years has never thought to stick a few magnets on fuels lines?"

 

Yeah and they just took the world gullible out of the dictionary

Big oil don't want you to do high mpg would harm there profits 😄

 

Look at the terrible mpg of most new cars and all the SUV's around now.
