Another vote for grazon pro, pretty much gets everything except ragwort, depends what height the nettles are if it's this far on in the growing season might not be as absorbent so less effective, you could try galgon also, glyphosate just to kill off everything but as said before about growing season you might need to increase dose rate

Dish washer salt does not worry about the height .

It depends where you need it and whether you want to kill everything or just the nettles. Salt will stay active in the soil and might make it impossible to get other plants to grow there. In small areas you can be selective in what you kill with glyphosate by applying spray strength to rubber gloves and then touching the leaves of the plants you want dead. Don't use glyphosate stronger than the recommended dose, this can be counter productive!

Grazon pro if you're worried about surrounding grassland being affected, if you're not, just use a strong solution of glyphosate as already recommended.

This was gear recommended by place in Lincolnshire way can't dig up as type one'd over "membrane" 'ish!

It's under/around solar panels there now looking at what have to do/worry about as on farms so many have mobile muck spreaders wandering around so worried about anything contaminating grass!

Was looking at DEFRA notice but i said everything has one on it!

So looking into it and thinking of writing to all places explaining and maybe get farmer giles to do as many have COSH listings for what they use on land?

I'd like something that will kill ground elder that is growing through hardy perennials, and nettles coming up through black current bushes without harming the garden plants. Weeding is impossibIe. I know Grazon won't harm grass but I'm not so confident on broad leaf ornamentals or fruit bushes.
