Mine has not got 107 anywhere on it .

Mine has the 107 note on the C1E  because I never asked for it not to be put on as I was unaware of the requirement.

Now I'm wondering if even the C1 is worth keeping as it will automatically expire this year. I haven't needed it since I retired and my days of driving horse boxes went when the girls gave up their ponies.

I have heard that you could ask for 107 not to be added before, I thought it was an urban myth.

Then you either took c1e or ce test.

Or when the new rules came about you claimed the fill c1e as you could prove you were using it.

Or you have the old paper licence and think because you cant see it it does not apply.

If the latter check your licence online. You will then see the 107 restriction. Thats what the police will go on not the bit of paper.

Or take the medical to keep it.

You had to prove you were using it for work to keep it. You had about a year to do so.

Another one of those rules I guess many of us missed.

Oddly I remember getting the letter about it and trying to get to keep it but none of mates had suitable kit to say I was using it. Even if I had I would still have needed to take the test to teach it
