Perhaps you’ll find someone will do it for the wood , if you think the £2k is an incorrect estimate from arbtalkers with a lifetime experience in pricing tree work.

ahh I found it 👍🤣

2k is ridiculous, unless it has to be cartered through the house down a flight of stairs!

get some quotes

This is in london, totally different costs compared to where you are

What price would you suggest? Please specify if it includes vat or not

And the Stump Grinding?

I guess you’d strap a brush to your Arse so you’d sweep up as you go and save even more time?

it's only 7m from a proposed extension and the bco's will insist on piled foundations

the stump being removed was one of their requests, still cheaper than piles

No mention of grinding, best stick another 2k on job then kid

Do keep up.

And no need to add another £2k on. The Grinding was included in the price. ;)

As mentioned below, that included the grind.

Seeing as how we have all got the price wrong, can you please enlighten us with your price? Again, let us know if it includes VAT or not.

£1,666 + VAT to fell and grind that thing would take all day. Adding this made up £600 job that none of us has seen seems unnecessary. If you price the first job correctly you don't have to bust you nuggets cramming a second one in.
