Have started showing a bit of ankle to the salesman for one of these.

They have only got the 57hp petrol engine on offer here in France

Thats a fair bit of extra poke compared to the 45hp v1505 turbo diesel they had beforehand.

Anyone here got one of these and has real life experience using it, what’s it like? As good as the diesel or not (or better)

TIA,

Mick

I had heard that they have used up the stock of diesel engines and are currently not offering a tier 5 diesel. Petrol is their only offering!

It's a lot more thirsty I gather. Be prepared to rock up at a petrol station more often!

To be expected.

Might have to be a bit more strict telling the lads to lift the throttle when we’re not chipping.

It needs an eco eye like eliet so it auto throttles down when it senses no load

I have hired these machines a few times for bigger commercial type jobs and think performance wise they are brilliant. Every time I use one i wish its was mine! I can't comment on how much fuel they use, it never really crossed my mind to be honest. If I had a steady amount of this type work I would definitely give serious thought to buying one.
