Morning all

Does anyone use saw pods or is it easier to attach them to your belt ?

On the ground i prefer it on my belt, easier to reach and stow. Up a tree the SawPod's good as it stops it swinging off your harness and getting in the way.

I wouldn't worry about buying one yet. Do some groundie work with it on your belt and go from there.

Saw pod [emoji817] for me. Have used one for years now and always reach down on my leg for the silky, force of habit. Personally wouldn’t use anything else but then I know people who hate them so it’s an individual thing

Hi Sam I use the saw pod with the silky. Easy to reach on lower leg. When the saw is on your belt you will find its always out of reach. Only thing is watch out for saw dust getting trapped at the bottom of the saw cover. Saw will be loose and fall out, happened twice to me.

Sawpod for climbing. Always where it should be not flapping about out of reach when you're in an awkward position. Used the hand saw much more once they became available.

Not everyone's cup of tea I know and they do look a bit "special forces".

But a great patience preserver for the short tempered.
