Well I tried to get a demo for one of these from a local supplier but with no luck in the end I got a bargain second hand one on earborist. So I am now in the greenmech cs100 18hp mini chipper club!!! 2 jobs for it already where my bigger tw won't go and it's out on hire as I type!!!!!

Welcome to the club Theocus, did you buy the one from Colwall? Why was the chap selling it - he had that some 4 months!

Yep that was the one, i even managed to knock him down a bit on price!!!

He was selling it because he is a landscaper and doesnt use it a great deal!!!!

Well spotted, it is indeed a chaff cutter. I found a less well preserved one outside the Weslyen Chapel in Castletown when I went for a walk thro the place after taking the kids up the hills some years ago.

I delivered a Wee Chipper to Butlins at Skeggy today. I did originally take it earlier in the week, but whilst I was there someone chucked a noggin of flint into it:thumbdown:.Made it rattle a bit - took it home, took the cassette out and swapped the blades over and reset the shear bar and returned it to them. Job's a good :thumbup1:'un
