Well that was an expensive morning. Went for the Pfanner in the end, will see how he gets on with it.

 

Got a bit carried away and treated myself to a new pair of boots and some rather warm and posh looking trousers for Picus testing ?

Pfanner Loden trousers are a modern design of the traditional hunting trouser. Made from a mix of Merino and Alpaca wool, they are very comfortable.

 

Never tried this brand of boots so will let you know my thoughts.

Crispi Dakota GTX boots are an ideal walking boot for long days over mid-mountain areas and plains. Designed and manufactured in Italy.

Ahh man, shame you didn’t look at some Irish Setters. I do all my survey work in them. Glorious boots.
