A Police dog handler friend recently had a bad crash (on duty) involving him going airborne at 50+ mph; last thing he remembers before landing is his rear nearside wheel passing him.

He had a couple of weeks off work, the unrestrained 35kg GSD in the dog box was absolutely fine.

Good to hear. I'm rarely out of the forest poodling around at 30-40mph.

Probably going to strap tool boxes on top shelf etc and cover the clamps for the hard top with foam to feel better.

My Jack Russel has a habit of going mental when branches touch the van if you have too pull in on a tight lane to let another vehicle past, twice when I’ve had the window open in summer I’ve looked over and he’s gone and all I can see is the idiot hanging off a branch in the side mirror, don’t think I would ever restrain him though.. have put him in crates in friends cars and he just gets to anxious and pants so loud during the journey it drives you mad , suppose at least you won’t hear that in the back.
