Etesia Hydro 124D, any users ?

Recommended Posts

Evening Folks,

Looking to buy a larger Ride on for this years contracts, we currently use a Bahia 80, which is good for the smaller sites, gardens etc, but doesn't cover the acreage.

So has anybody used one of the hydro 124D's ?

Good or ?

Cheers Dave

If you want to mow FAST and collect the clippings - The Bad Boy ZT is probably the best there is.

ZT Series | Bad Boy Mowers

They are imported into the UK buy a guy called Alistair Sheach of Great Dane mowers

Great Dane UK Products (UK), Kirkcaldy, Scotland: Ride-On Commercial Mowers

Gunn JCB at Preston are dealers and I think they guy you need to talk to is called John Noon - 01772 782051

A mate of mine has the hydro 100 with the high tip, says it's the best thing he's bought. Never clogs up in wet grass and ground speed is pretty fast too. Says it's much better than the gianni ferrari he had previously. Only problem he says is the small 40 inch deck but the 124D would be too big for the small areas.

If you got a big area that needs collecting get the 124D nothing else will touch the etesias for collecting wet or long grass.

He has the 18 HP Lombardini in the hydro 100 and hasn't had any problems with the mower or the engine athough only been used for 1 season, around 300 hours.

Just had a look at the etesia brochure and the 124D has the 25 HP Lombardini engine. I think they are fairly reliable and you won't get much problems from it.

I have used 124D for five seasons now. Bought it new and have had very few problems.

Lombardini is a common rail engine which some dislike, but mine has never given any problems, however I do change fuel filters twice a season to be on safe side. I agree with above - nothing else can touch them for performance in long, wet grass.
