Has the cold weather improved log business?

Just wondering if this ongoing cold weather has helped out with an improvement in log sales, heard that trade was generally a bit quieter than normal.

I've got some year old billets ready that I was going to retail later this year and thought it might be worth a quick ad in the village shop.

I've been surprised too at how quiet it's been but have taken two orders today for tomorrow. Always good to get the pocket money coming in again.

i dont advertise logs at the moment because ive got my regulars to look after but ive had 15 calls in 4 days.

I have had an amazing amount of calls for logs, despite not really doing firewood commercially and plenty of people selling it round here.

Seriously thinking of doing it on a bigger scale.

Yes yes yes, sold out of our logs in November, struck a deal with a local land owner with logs, now sold out of those. Still having people ringing up after logs.

This is our first season doing logs as a sideline. It's taking over all of our spare time!!! Have spent all of today delivering in the snow and the damn phone won't stop ringing. Bloody logs!!
