We may look at some form of guard for the bottom set of hoses, but to be honest it's not been an issue so far, with the majority of implements the boom is in the lowered position when your heading into brash/timber etc. so the implement protects everything. Also enables ease of maintenance/access

That’d last 5 mins on our jobs before the hoses (and pumps!) were ripped off I reckon.
For the sake of a basic panel of some sort it seems a no brainer to protect that area (and would make the machine look much better finished to my mind).

Looks good, the nice thing with the microBull is the 2 aux services and flail circuit as standard, saves having to worry about diverters etc. and gives plenty of scope for attachments

Never one to ignore feed back, started working on this over the weekend, will be fully retrofit and works off existing bolt holes/fixings, will probably make it so we can incorporate company logo/name into the face of it.

No, airflow shouldn't have been reduced at all, mostly there to protect pipework at the front where it's most likely to get caught, the oil cooler is positioned where the boom offers protection most of the time
