The gov rules specifically say that personal account is ok.

 

As I said Lloyds are rolling it out on Wed.

 

I think some banks are not pleased re lending at 2.5%

Re Lloyds? It was a phone call but the application page does have a fall back ,link for more info re personal accounts.

 

But a quick google found all these banks with info

You need a business to set these up but don't need a business bank account. At least some of the banks offering these loans don't require you to have a business account with them.

Re Lloyds? It was a phone call but the application page does have a fall back ,link for more info re personal accounts.

Yours is not the only one lying, a mate was told he could not take one out & use it to pay off other debts.

 

They just did not want to loose the 9% loan with them.
