They sound fantastic don't they - we had an old TJ 360 skidder (looked similar to the one on ebay but bigger) on one estate and the sound of it coming down the valley bottom on a frosty morning was awesome :thumbup:

Unless you drive past Fraddon when the pigs and VOSA are there, you can do what you like in a machine like that down here.:sneaky2:

i quite fancy that forwarder at the price its ideal for what i'm doing but looks like it may start costing a bit in maintenance shortly

 

spend the 5k on a reconditioned fortuna timber bogey, not much to break down on them, not the biggest lifters but very quick and the crane is a 3 point linkage one, so in a few minutes you can just stick it on the tractor and use it for chores around the farm:thumbup:
