Done my return tonight so lets see what the fook comes this year,  So many extra sections to file due to this virus. Anyone who employs an accountant expect extra charges in the next year or two. I will let the dust settle and expect an appeal further down the line but been there before

Because January is the deadline and how many times do you read of the HMRC system crashing in January cause everyone waits till the last minute? ?

That's why I have learnt to get the details to my accountant by September at the latest.

Why now rather than January?

Because they owe me a chunk of money so better in my bank account , I sub contract 3 months a year and earn good coin so pay plenty of tax via CIS 20% . Covers my tax bill and a nice rebate which is why i do it

Are they going accept returns 9 months early?

I know whey are allowing those who should has submitted in jan up to 4 weeks to get them in and thus qualify for the help, but did not know they had offered to give tax rebates months in advance?

My bother tried to delay his July tax payment, due to being well in credit due to cis, but they said “No”, but that was back in feb.
