I know about filling the filter to the brim, but there is no primer as far as I know. I've always just cracked one of the injectors. Where is the primer on the 2L DI?

Been a few years since the mark 6 but from memory there is a black button on the side or back of the filter housing

If there should be Les, there isn't one on mine. I thought that was idea of brimming the filter, to do away with the need for priming?

I can't remember either, I've had a few Transit vans/tippers over the years, I can't remember priming a fuel filter. That said, my memory isn't the best in the world... by any stretch.

 

back to the picture above, it smells more like Turps than Diesel, I'm not jesting this time... having drank them both...

Cause i got some work for you down with me as long as you dont mind mucking in, Got a new site of 4 new builds starting on tuesday which is abiut 10 minutes walk from my house, Loads of trees i can have for fire wood but its not wot i am doing there really, I am shuttering 2x5 bedroom  house bases first but in between i have a pile of oak logs to mill to big for my bandsaw mill, Then in between that a base to put down in my one yard for a smaller bandsaw mill to go
