We've a Norway Spruce in our back garden which I think someone planted as an outdoor christmas tree a long time ago, less than 12 foot from the backdoor but we've got an unusual visitor living in it. I think it's s young Kestrel but I might be wrong.

Never thought for a minute it would be quiet enough but it's been there every night for the last four nights and maybe longer.

Sorry for the rubbish pics - will try and get some better ones.

I've just been out for another look :sneaky2:

:blushing: It had moved and could see it a bit better - it's got a pointy beak - I think it's a thrush too :blushing:

Serves me right for getting all excited and rushing back in  but I've never seen one that colour before - honest!
