I have a 560 and a 562, any difference is negligible, same power unit.

What size bar have you got on the 562?

We bought a 572 last week after the storm needed bigger saw for bigger trees, performing nicely.

A mate of mine has the 562 and I am on the 560. We did a side by side test and his 562 seems to have more grunt

Different pinion as I understand it, apart from that you’ll need a chainsaw expert to explain the difference.

As already mentioned 261 good versatile model but if you can get away with a slightly smaller bar the 241 is awesome and runs best on 14’’ .(very well balanced with decent power to weight ratio)

Not tried the 540ixp - only the older model 535ixp. Same idea but the new one is more powerful?

You can't compare it in anyway to a 50cc petrol saw.

You need both, petrol and battery, there's plenty of times when I would pick up the battery saw over any petrol saw.
