I did my install myself. It was doddle. Stove was 1200, then about 200p the flue, finished in black. Council signed it off

As others have said, choose the stove, then get a heats guy to install. Use a recommended guy, try and find someone local who has had similar done and ask them

Don’t buy a Flavel Rochester it has a design flaw of a unnecessary large ledge that the glass sits into, this gets a nice big fat slug of ash on it that promptly false onto your hearth and floor when you open the door.

what sort ofstoves whould you suggest for max £800-900. its going to go in a corner.

 That looks a tricky install, elecrical sockets, close to edge of wall to core an 8” hole through, distance from blinds and frames etc so your choice of stove may be very limited in that situation so you definately need expert advice.

The flue will go out of the wall where there is 2 sockets, I thought it would be enough space? The distance from the Ariel socket to the left of the wall is 18 inches

I'd also worry about the cutains, not you perhaps but the next owner of the house who might not realise. At first thought your quote sounds high but what are yuo being quoted for? There doesn't look like a lot of wall space so you might need something more compact which could limit the choces the nstaler has.. and of course the more secialised  stove is, the more the manufacturer thinks they cancharge. I'd get a breakdown of the quote if you can to see what is in it

I'm not to bothered about that.i would like a internal flue but I think it will be so exspensive to have done.
