We did till we set off !!

I love the smell of a real tree!!

 

We have had this plastic one for 7 years, we have four children, so my wife has had enough to do without hovering up needles, so I let her have her way and we got the plastic one.

 

The kids are getting bigger and my Mrs has said I can bin the plastic tree after Xmas and we can have a real one next year.

Keep a tub of freshly chipped spruce next to the plastic one..

You could always sprinkle a bit on the floor for added affect?
