husky starting trouble?

i've recently just got my first saw, second hand. its a husky 345. its been starting and running fine but yesterday it cut out while i was logging some cornifer. now i can't get it to start. could it be something real simple that i'm just missing out? any help would be great. thanks :001_smile:

just checked the plug, brand new! and clean as a whistle. forgot the bloke had it services before i bought it. this may sound pretty stupid but how do you check if its sparking?

 

remove it,put it back in the lead,hold it against the pot and pull starter.

i like to put it between my buttocks,its champion!! :lol: joke

bet it is! i done that, just thought i'd check i was doing it right. no spark though!
they wont conduct through denim lol.being serious though mate if you have no spark and it stopped suddenly it sounds like ignition,probably about 40 quid,they sometimes make a popping noise when they go
