I hope I'm not teaching Granny to suck eggs but re moving the remaining lumps... do you know parbuckling?  You need a flatbed trailer, a rope or two and ramps, that's all.

Hi Jon if I had a tow bar and a flat trailer no worries but that’s the problem and the timber isn’t worth spending much money on so might just have to tell the tree surgeon who has been paid to remove it that I can’t move the last of it it will probably piss him off but what else can I do

If the tree surgeon is someone who may be in a position to help you in the future it's probably worth removing it to keep him sweet: ring it up, bash the rings in half with an axe and find a home for the firewood.

Hi Jon that’s what it looks like I will end up doing we do have a big wood burner in the workshop so it will not go to waist, but it’s quite rare so thought somebody might want it especially for Free
