vertex vents last 5 years not 3 so the extra cost justified

the old style helmets with chinstraps are now not recomended and you would not be able to do lantra or nptc climbing in them

i have a black vertex vent would not buy another dont stand out enough on ground though i do look damn good in it

kong ones are not as good imo as velcro headband gets caught in my hair

I have a kong magic excellent great mesh light as hell comfty neck strap. But not rated for use when chipping must get the higher rated sordin muffs put on dont use the ones that come with it. the noise from the chipper can get to your ear not loud but you notice it.

so kong magic with the better sordin muffs cant beat imo:icon14:

My long suffering, often thrown and booted, clonked and knocked and scratched husqy helmet has done its 3 year service and, to be a legal little eagle, I suppose I'd better retire it and get a new one.

Which helmet is the dogs pods?

N.B. I like Black.

so you got a thing for black helmets eh?:reddy:

my favourite helmet to datre has been the black diamond half dome....someone ran over my last one, when i replace my current helmet it will be with another black diamond. The ear muff attachents you can get for them arent particularly great, but i personally use plugs and glasses
